Right after purchasing we bought a bottle of water and set out to determine how Hunter would adapt to this new style. He took to it right away and so did we! It is deeper and more of a bowl so no spills took place. When Hunter was done lapping up the water, we just tipped it and all the extra went right back in, PERFECT for when used in the car or buiding. I honestly don't know how we lived without this product for so long - well, actually - we often ran out of water OR ended up wearing a lot of it!
